Navigate the UTI Generation Waterfall
Determine which party is responsible for UTI generation with the UTI Generation Determination Mandate from Droit
New UTI harmonization requirements, in line with CPMI-IOSCO guidance, are going live in April of this year. These requirements should streamline data aggregation and enable a more comprehensive view of the international OTC derivatives market for regulators.
However, untangling the waterfall logic for cross-jurisdictional transactions could prove challenging for market participants. To enable financial institutions to gain clarity on waterfall requirements and determine the earliest reporting jurisdiction, Droit developed a UTI Generation Determination Mandate.
